Missed Wednesday’s Governance Hour? Here's the deep dive into the parameter change to reduce minPoolCost to 75 ada. A big thank you to @NicolasC3rny and @Cerkoryn (Ryan Wiley) for a great conversation. Ryan walked through why minPoolCost is really a minimum fee rather than a cost, how the delegator penalty on small pools has climbed as block rewards have fallen, and why 75 ada would bring that penalty back in line with earlier eras of the protocol. The session also covered the road ahead: minPoolMargin (CIP-23), a possible increase to K, and how pledge changes in Dijkstra tie into all of it. Thanks to everyone who tuned in live and asked questions. Voting on the action is open until October 11th. Watch the full session here

I'd support lowering minPoolCost from 170 to 75 ADA. That fixed fee takes a much bigger bite out of a small pool's rewards. If this helps independent SPOs attract delegators, that's a real decentralization gain.
