RB Jeremiah Love became just the 7th player and 3rd RB since 2015 to score a rushing TD on the opening possession of his NFL career. He joins Raheim Sanders (9/7/25 vs. CIN), Bo Scarborough (11/17/19 @ DET) and Ameer Abdullah (9/13/15 @ LAC) as the only RBs to accomplish the feat in the last decade.

Dating back to his final season at Notre Dame in 2025, Love now has at least one rushing TD in each of his last 12 games played.

With that TD, Jeremiyah Love is first Cardinals player to score a rushing TD in his NFL debut since RB Tim Hightower (2-yard run) on 9/7/08 at San Francisco. Dating back to at least 1950, Love joins Hightower, QB Sammy Garza (10/11/87 vs. New Orleans; 2 yards), RB Ottis Anderson (9/2/79 vs. Dallas; 76 yards) and HB Johnny Olszewski (9/27/53 vs. Washington; 2 yards) as the only Cardinals players to have a rushing TD in their NFL debut.
