It’s definitely very bizarre. I was shocked when Nadeau or FUS didn’t get pulled up. It does seem like they have lost their mind a little bit.

While this sounds weird, I hope Cerrato is hurt, because he’s going to be very good. It would suck if we traded him. So all of that in addition to not pulling up Nadeau or FUS makes me think this trade related. No way we empty our cupboard for just Helle though, right?

You're literally proving my point. Nadeau or FUS will be called up sometime this weekend due to the new CBA rules. Everybody's acting like it's the end of the world because we had to play Deslauriers for two games. It's not the end of the world.

That isn’t true at all. Do you think these lines are working? Even Rod was frustrated last night. Why do we have an open spot on the roster and at least try and fill it with Nadeau? He did great when he filled in for Jarvis last year. He could do the same now.

I did, and you pretty much called all of us idiots who questioned GMET and said that the roster wasn’t set. I think Rod does want one of them. He seemed really frustrated when he was asked about it last night. With an open roster spot, why not at least try Nadeau?

Don’t get me wrong, I love Rod, but dude, this is the regular season 😂 Why not give FUS and Nadeau some ice time especially Nadeau this kid has already shown he’s capable of playing in the NHL? I get why we had D-Lo in against Florida, but I’d really love to see those two guys get an opportunity at some point.

DLo was always gonna play against FLA. Primeau was kept up to make it less likely he’d get claimed on waivers, and BN and FUS aren’t eligible for call up until they’ve played at least 1 AHL game. Don’t try to make it more than it is, my guy.

I expected D Lo to play against Florida. That rule doesn’t go into effect until the 10th. If GMET wanted them in Raleigh last night, they would have been there. I know all about Primeau, so now we have an open roster spot. I’m not an idiot.

What makes zero sense is both Rod and GMET saying that they are both NHL ready, and will play on the team. The lines aren’t working. We have an open spot on the roster. Why not bring one of them up and at least try? Answer that for me. I have seen a lot of people say what I did.

I know there was some confusion about it, but someone a lot more knowledgeable about the rule explained it. I just think they’re still in Chicago because GMET is working on a trade that involves them.

I’m convinced at this point that either Nadeau, FUS or both are going to be in a trade. Even Rod sounded frustrated last night when he said it was a management decision to not bring them to Raleigh. Having a roster spot open without one of them being in it makes no sense.

Canes Game #2 (Caps) Offense: 👎👎 Too little TOO late Defense: 👎 Goalie: 👎👎 3 bad goals for Bussi 8 second goal for Caps after Aho scored sucked the ever living life out of the crowd and Canes themselves. Deslauriers added zero to game and 4th line was unforgettable

We have looked awful. The Flyers are atrocious though, so if we can’t pull off a win tonight, I actually might become a little concerned.

Here is what we learned from tonight: DLo is a blackhole on the ice, keep him in the pressbox. Call up Nadeau, we need a sniper. Send Legault to Chicago, he isn't quite ready for the NHL. He'll be ready next season hopefully. Either call up Nystrom or have Reilly play.

I agree with you about benching DLo and pulling up Nadeau, but I suspect that neither Nadeau or FUS is being called up. I don’t agree with you about Legault. He’s going to get better. There are a lot of vets who looked like they weren’t ready for the NHL.

People saying they can’t be called up, that is incorrect. That rule doesn’t go into effect until the 10th. If GMET wanted them in Raleigh against the Panthers, they would have been there. They are still in Chicago for a reason.
