Me too, but there are hundreds of the likes Elaine Cottams or Diane Matthews all over the UK who haven't even appeared on the radar yet! I fear that like their victims, some will die before seeing justice.

In similar cases if there are any, the number of people seeking justice is quite limited compared to the POL scandal. It will definitely be thousands with millions watching and scrutinising the outcome. Justice is on trial.

Of course, there is always the fear that all of the guilty will simply lie to the police, as they all did so to the judge-led inquiry. We need an active ongoing campaign to keep all of the crimes committed in the public eye - every PO employee is guilty of omertà.

After the Lord Justice Taylor Report, the Independent Panel Report, multiple Government apologies and the longest-running inquests and the longest jury case in British legal history, ALL of which concluded that alcohol, categorically play NO part in the Hillsborough disaster, you would think that

For 37 years we have suffered the consequences of in the grossly negligent misconduct of South Yorkshire Police Force and the lies perpetuated by Chief Superintendant David Duckenfield.
97 dead and not one of the police officers responsible held to account.
Yet 37 years later we still have to fight back against this libel, victim blaming and false narrative.
The lack of decorum and respect for the dead, survivors and bereaved of the Hillsborough Disaster are treated with is abhorrent.
As exhausting as it is, we will NEVER all you to rehash these lies.
To be clear - Alcohol did not cause the disaster or the deaths of our loved ones.
The gross negligence of Senior South Yorkshire Police Officers DID.

COP CONVICTED BY POST OFFICE
Peter Holmes was a police officer for 12 years. Then he ran the Jesmond Post Office in Newcastle for 13 years. @PostOffice thanked him with a criminal record.
Its Horizon system, built by Fujitsu (@fujitsu_uk), showed £46K missing. He said Horizon let him down. He had warned the Post Office about Horizon training back in 1999. It prosecuted him anyway.
He pleaded guilty to false accounting, got a 3 month curfew and could no longer volunteer as a driver for a cancer charity. He died of a brain tumour in 2015.
The Court of Appeal quashed his conviction on 23 April 2021. That is 6 years after he died. His widow Marion Holmes brought the appeal and says the conviction contributed to his early death.
The UK government owns the Post Office. Justice arrived 6 years after the funeral. Very punctual.
