Our WCU Player of the Week presented by @localforddealer is Josh Perry of @CatamountsFB Perry spearheaded a Catamount rushing attack, totaling a career-high 142 yards on 16 carries with a career-best three touchdowns. The reigning SoCon Offensive Player of the Week scored on rushes of 3 yards, a career-long 62 yards, and 14 yards in WCU's dominant 58-14 home win over PC. He added three catches for 20 yards, amassing 162 combined yards in the winning effort. Perry's 142 rushing yards are the most by a Catamount this season and equal the highest total by a WCU running back since Patrick Boyd Jr. rushed for 142 yards against Gardner-Webb a season ago. Perry's three rushing TDs were the most by a Catamount since Jalynn Williams scored three on the ground against The Citadel back in 2024.

Our WCU Player of the Week presented by @localforddealer is Elsa Maren Steinarsdóttir of @CatamountWGolf Steinarsdóttir capped a record-setting tournament with a career-best third place finish at the Elon Women's Invitational as the Catamounts finished fifth as a team. She carded back-to-back career rounds on Monday with a three-under par 68 in the second round setting her new career benchmark. On Monday, she recorded four birdies in each round and played her final 32 holes of the day at 7-under par. Steinarsdóttir paced the tournament field in par-4 scoring at even par (4.00) and tied for eighth in par-5 scoring at 3-under par (4.67). Her 10 birdies ranked third in the field, while her 36 pars were tied for fifth.
