Recently Endhiran completed 16 years and Social media was filled with many posts. But, what's fascinating is that post the big success of that movie, only 4 more big budget sci-fi movies were made in tamil cinema so far in this 16 yrs. 7am Arivu, 24, 2.0 and Ayalaan - That's it

There are many medium/small budget movies like Indru Netru Naalai, Maanadu. But, this industry and its stars didn't take much risks (Excluding Suriya). In telugu upcoming big event movies like Vaaranasi, Raaka are all in this genre.

Despite being not upto the levels of all the above mentioned movies & having Anna's worst discography, GOAT has to be here in this list. Its a fairly decent movie at many levels which satisfied its core audience (anils & families)

Audience has become a clown here. They eat cringefests and flopped movies like Ayalaan, Indru Netru Naalai. Then, why director should worry about giving a proper science fiction. 😓
