HOMECOMING PARADE: Penn State's Homecoming parade is set for tonight starting at 6:00.
The parade route will begin near Medlar Field before traveling west on Curtin Rd, south on Bigler Rd and west on Pollock Rd. It continues south on Shortlidge Rd, west on College Ave and north on Burrowes Rd before ending at the Curtin Rod intersection.
The route will close to vehicles beginning at 5:30pm and remain closed until the parade ends.

James Copenhaver, one of three campaign rally attendees shot in 2024 during an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, has died in Pittsburgh, his lawyer said today. He was 76.
Copenhaver was in the bleachers during the event in Butler when a 20-year-old gunman opened fire from a nearby rooftop, grazing Trump’s right ear with one bullet. Copenhaver was struck in the arm and in the abdomen, wounds that left him with lingering injuries and walking with a cane. (AP)

Police say they're continuing their investigation after a home in Philadelphia has been linked to the disappearances of seven women, with five presumed dead. Evan Pochas has more.

State College Airport says Friday will be a very busy day for air traffic there (PSU Homecoming and football weekend).
The airport will also welcome one of the largest aircraft that can operate at SCE-- a Boeing 757-200. It's expected to land around 5:15pm. Keep an eye on the sky!
