how NGINX handles hundreds of thousands of requests per second?
it uses a Master-Worker Model and i’ve implemented the same architecture in my own mini-nginx called NxLite.
here’s how it works:
Master Process:
- loads config
- sets up listening sockets
- spawns and monitors worker processes
- handles graceful shutdowns
Worker Processes:
- accept connections
- handle HTTP requests
- serve static files
- manage keep-alive
NxLite uses the same model:
- a single master process sets everything up and forks multiple workers.
- workers share the same socket and independently handle connections using epoll + sendfile.
NxLite isn’t just an experiment. it’s a high-performance static file server with a UNIX-style process model and real-world efficiency.

I'm (still) working on the Playgrounds 2.0 for iximiuz Labs. Here is what we'll soon have:

There’s been a lot of talk about retail investors during this cycle, and here’s one more piece of evidence showing they remain relatively missing, despite BTC hitting multiple ATHs since 2021.
Today, we’re seeing the lowest number of addresses categorized as "shrimps" (holding <1 BTC) since 2021.
— Back at the 2021 ATH, there were around 590 000 shrimp addresses.
At the April 2024 ATH, that number had dropped to 490 000, and today, with another ATH just around the corner, we’re down to only 260 000.—
💡We can also observe that the 30-day average is evolving well below the yearly average.
👉🏼 This clearly shows a lack of retail enthusiasm, and further confirms that BTC network activity remains fairly weak.
While it's worth noting that some addresses may have changed category over time as they accumulated more BTC but this only concerns a minority.

A #CypherIT crypter is being used in #LummaStealer infections. This campaign is spread via various sources. The binaries use NSIS installers and AutoIt scripts. From an infection, we also saw a clipper payload targeting cryptocurrency wallets. Details at bit.ly/3Fibxse
