I genuinely feel like a lot of ARMYs are becoming disconnected from BTS's music. And by that, I mean disconnected from the messages, the themes, and the very essence of their art. I firmly believe BTS's music makes you think more deeply, become more empathetic, question things, and want to become a better, kinder person. Their art invites you to look inward and understand the world around you.
So it's exhausting to see so much of our energy going into fanwars, ratioing K-pop stans, keeping tabs on other groups' numbers, and arguing about everything EXCEPT the music. I genuinely don't understand why any of that matters so much. For a group that lives and breathes music, shouldn't we be engaging with their art on a deeper level? BTS have given us so much to think about through their music. It's sad to see the music itself becoming an afterthought.
