If critics actually had the evidence to charge Jack Smith with perjury or legal misconduct, they would have done it by now. The reality is they can't, because his investigation was bound strictly to the facts, the law, and DOJ protocol.
The Mar-a-Lago documents case wasn't "hidden" because prosecutors lacked evidence—it was dismissed on a technical ruling by Judge Aileen Cannon regarding the Appointments Clause, a decision widely challenged by legal scholars.
It is pure hypocrisy to frame a career prosecutor as the liar while ignoring that Donald Trump’s own extensive criminal and civil records have been repeatedly proven in open court and upheld on appeal:
Civil Liability for Sexual Abuse & Defamation: A federal jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse and battery against E. Jean Carroll, a ruling firmly upheld on appeal.
Persistent Financial Fraud: New York courts found Trump and his executives liable for massive, repeated civil business fraud.
Criminal Convictions: A jury of 12 citizens convicted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
