Why would anyone possibly introduce seeding to a domestic cup competition? 🙈
These historical competitions are built on tradition, unpredictability and the underdog.
Last season, as FA Cup holders, we @cpfc lost to 6th division Macclesfield. For their fans, community and football club, nothing will ever beat it. The pitch was then used by kids’ football matches, the very next day. This would definitely not have happened with seeding.
