Why do I scan for strong, high RS stocks in a bear market? Not to buy them, but to study how they behave in a weak environment. When I see strong stocks breaking out and giving back the entire move the next day, it tells me the market isn’t supporting breakouts right now. So I keep scanning, observing, and learning without forcing trades.

Now people will start understanding why we shouldn’t trade every breakout. The overall feedback from my recent trades was enough to tell me that this market isn’t suitable for my strategy right now. Maybe I missed a few moves, but the strategy I use isn’t working in these market conditions. And I don’t trade just to make 1–2R. So, I choose to stay out and wait for the right conditions. That’s trading. You don’t need to catch every move. Keep learning!

Those who trade in this market have FOMO about missing the move, but those who have been trading for 7 to 8 years are relaxing because they know this environment won't last long; when the bull market comes, they will make money.
