Social media now drives how political information is shared and consumed, so it’s only right for our party to prioritise a “New Media Directorate” within its Communications Wing. And just as Pablo did at the Youth Wing, a dedicated and formally instituted office will do the “us” who continuously engage and defend the party online some good. The next NDC government must 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 recognise those of us on social media, and a formal directorate will facilitate that. Our politics today demand modern communication structures and recognition!
