Thanks @STLChessClub @SabinaFoisor for bringing up this important aspect about corporate support. We have no support from the Federal/State govt and any corporate till date. Most of the expenses are still taken care by my family and I need to play simuls frequently to cover about 5-10% of exponential training/travel/lodging expenses. Hopefully people will watch this interview and understand about the painful ground reality of upcoming chess player in USA. Despite all these major roadblocks, I am determined for my next short-term goal to become the youngest ever Super GM (2700 ELO) soon. I have about 13 months to gain 84 ELO points. Hopefully my family and I will survive till we get any corporate support. The issue seems to be with Chess in USA. It is much easier to be a good chess player in other countries. After achieving a 2828 performance at the 2025 FIDE Grand Swiss, I had hoped 2026 would bring more invitations to top-level events. Unfortunately, despite reaching out to several organizers, no opportunities have materialized. As a result, I’ve been competing in open tournaments instead. Over the past 15 days, I played in both the Semana Santa Open and the Menorca Open, winning each with a score of 7.5/9. To tournament organizers: I remain very interested in participating in strong closed events or leagues, and I would greatly appreciate any invitations. Please feel free to get in touch.

Here is the list of players who became a GM at 13 or younger. Today, Mishra (2638.3) proved his high level by winning the Menorca Open on tie-breaks with 7.5/9 2700chess.com/juniors Faustino Oro (2528) missed his final GM norm there, but at just 12.5 years old, he still has time to secure a spot near the top of this list.
