π¨ CHIEFS TRADE TARGET DEADLINE SPECIAL!
With Kansas City looking to reload for the playoff run, GM Brett Veach is exploring all options on the wide receiver market!
Here is how the top 3 target options stack up:
π― Brian Thomas Jr. (Jaguars) β Target #1! Elite 2024 first-round talent on a team-friendly contract. Jacksonville wants top draft capital, but BTJ is the ultimate downfield weapon for #15.
β‘οΈ Josh Downs (Colts) β The high-probability slot option. Ultra-reliable separator who can instantly move the chains in Andy Reid's system.
π₯ Garrett Wilson (Jets) β The blue-chip superstar target KC is keeping close tabs on if New York opens the phones.

π£ SWING FOR THE FENCES, BRETT VEACH!
βOn ESPN's Get Up, Jason McCourty called on Kansas City to make a massive splash at the November 10 trade deadline following the Week 7 loss in Seattle:
β"Go out and get a receiver... Call up the New York Jets and call up the Philadelphia Eagles. Ask about Garrett Wilson and DeVonta Smith! Don't go for a Hollywood Brown or Jerry Jeudyβgo for a dude who changes the way defenses play you!" β Jason McCourty π£οΈ @JasonMcCourty
βWith the 5-1 Chiefs needing a true #1 perimeter threat to stretch the field alongside Xavier Worthy, landing a star like Garrett Wilson or DeVonta Smith would completely re-open this offense! π―
βShould Veach trade major draft capital for a proven superstar WR? Drop your thoughts below! π

π Let's Get it Done #Chiefs
#Chiefs are targeting Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr., per sources. Jacksonville wants a 1st-round pick in exchange.
The 2024 1st-round pick offers an attractive target profile and an easily manageable rookie deal with multiple years of team control remaining.
Sources add Kansas City is keeping tabs on #Jets WR Garrett Wilson as well, along with potential pass-rush help.

What you guys think π€

GM cap locked on. Time to make some urgent phone calls before this trade deadline passes us by. @ChiefsBlitz
The Free Agent Addition: Since Tyreek Hill is sitting out there on the open market as a free agent, pick up the phone, bring him back to Kansas City without giving up draft capital, and let him stretch the field for Mahomes immediately.
The Young Deep Threat: Dial Jacksonville about Brian Thomas Jr. or check in with the Jets on Adonai Mitchell to pry loose a high-upside perimeter weapon.
The Splash Move: Make a massive offer to the Jets for Garrett Wilson.
No more wasting prime years. Go make it happen, Veach. π¨ππ
