一概に「リアリティ」と言っても色々なリアリティがあります。
写真を参考にして写実的にすれば現実感はでます。
しかし写真を参考にすると「絵が止まる」という致命的な欠点が生まれます。
ボクシング等のスポーツ漫画の表現で重要なのは「支点力点作用点」そして「スピード」。
これを頭の中で踏まえて描くとたちまち動きが出ます。
すでに写実と妄想が合流していることを注視して下さい。
ここで問題となるのがアップかロングか。
見開き単位で見た時に必ず「誰がどこで何を」しているのかわかるロングのコマは必要です。
このロングでは「どこで」という課題があるので、しっかり背景を入れた方がいい場合が多いです。
背景資料で写真が必要なら参考にします。
しかし果たしてリアリティは伝わっているでしょうか？
漫画の罫線、つまりコマとコマの間には時間が流れていると思って下さい。
通常縦の線は細く横の線は太くなっています。
時間に置き換えると縦の線の連続、横移動のコマは時間の流れが速い。
横の線、縦移動のコマは時間の流れが遅くなる。
おそらく自然とそう読んでいるはずです。
優秀な漫画家はこれを利用してリズムを作ります。
タタタ(縦縦縦)、タン(横)、ダン(横)！『タパスタッイェーッイェー♫』みたいな感じです。
視線誘導等が大事と言われますがそれはできて当たり前です。
縦横の移動、送り開き、手を止める流す、あらゆる箇所にリズムを作る。
これが二次元の画面における最も重要な「演出」の一つです。
そしてそのリズム感の違いが「個性」の一つです。
どうですか？リアリティの正体がだんだんわかってきたと思います。
写実でもいい、ギャグ風でもいい、僕の場合はリアルとギミックの中間を心掛けます。
リアリティとは伝え方で演出力です。
演出力とはイコール「コマ割り」です。
最初に戻ります。
『リアリティを出す為に何を参考に描いているのか？』という質問でしたが写真や映像を観る時があるのは当然です。
しかしそれは重要ではなくパーツにすぎません。
漫画(萬画)とはその字の通り総合力です。
演出力といくつものパーツが組み合わさって全体となります。
参考資料を強いて挙げるとしたら自分の中に蓄積された情報です。
なんとなくわかりますかね？
うー、本当はもっと細かく伝えたいのですが長くなってしまうのでこのへんで。
上っ面の回答になってしまい申し訳ないです。
今回はスポーツ描写におけるリアリティについてでしたが次回があればもう少し踏み込んだ話ができるといいですね。
ドラマとストーリーの違い、どちらを優先すべきか、とか。
ここまで読んだ方、全て僕の主観によるものということを忘れずに。
作家によってずいぶん考え方は違うし、昭和生まれの僕の手法はおそらく古いです。
いえ、偶に模写やイラストを趣味レベルで描くくらいで限りなく①の読者側の人間です。あと、ライフワークでゆでたまご先生のキン肉マンの新超人の公募コーナーに応募するキャラを描く程度です😅
ただ、森川先生の漫画の迫力や説得力リアリティの源泉は漫画家としての才能や創造力だけでなく、積み重ねた経験や体験と物事の本質を見抜く目からなのでは？と読者側から勝手な想像で感じたのでご無礼とは思いますが一度この質問をぶつけてみたかっただけです。

I’ve met so many English-only people who didn’t even want to make an effort to learn my name, asking for an “easier name”
I think some Japanese (not all! Just some!) are too fuss over other languages. It is clear they love stuck in the comfort zone. But to be honest for me life kinda fun when sometimes we need to try our best to communicate to ppl who doesn't speak the same language.

I dislike extroverts who think everyone needs to match their energy.
You have to constantly engage with them, respond to every story and keep up with their endless talking. They fill every silence and make you feel guilty for wanting some peace.
Like dude, you can sit quietly. You’re an adult, not a child. Not everyone wants to talk or socialize all the time.
And the way some of them behave, they look like a joker with zero IQ.
Sincerely, an introvert who is tired of doing the emotional labour of tolerating extroverts.

まずは、コミュニティノート的に説明します。
〝アザラシ幼稚園は、日本に向けてのみではなく、様々な言語で様々な国にメッセージを送っています。
「日本人からだけで持続的な支え」を求めているという本文の内容は、誤りです。
また、アザラシ幼稚園は半世紀前から存在する施設であり、様々な問題(コロナ禍、物価上昇による建築費の上昇など)が重なる前までは、ここまでの危機は無く運用されてきました。
今回は、自国での各方面への再建努力とともに、サポートを謙虚にしかし粘り強く多方面にわたって願っているに過ぎません。〟
ここからは、個人的な感想とお願いです。
動物保護施設が抱える個人や企業、自治体からの寄付による運用の難しさは、国際的なものです。
世界的な不況による物価情勢や疫病。自治体そのものの少子化や不安定な収入。
個人主義の台頭も影響しています。
そうしたものから簡単に支援が打ち切られる、最初に見捨てられるのが人間ではない「彼ら」です。
私たちは、ヨーロッパ人を救いたいのではありません。
〝「彼ら」＝国境の無い海にいる死にかけたアザラシ〟を救いたいだけです。
私たちはまた、アザラシ幼稚園そのものに対して「ヨーロッパ」という国境も何もかも超えて、フレンドシップを築いてきました。
私たちのフレンドシップへの不理解から、「日本人のみをターゲットにしたクレクレ詐欺」のように侮辱的に書き投稿することは間違っていると、声を大にして言いたいです。
申し訳ないがこれは結構な日本人が冷めそうだな。日本人からだけで持続的な支えは無理である。
自立してくれ。いつもアジア人をバカにしているヨーロッパの雰囲気もこっちは忘れていないんだよね。
まずEU内でどうにかしてくれ。

I’ve seen many comments saying Kishimoto sensei “copied NINKU” and they lost respect for him because of it.
Those things have been around for hundreds of years, they didn’t originate from NINKU or Naruto.
They’ve been used a lot with any ninja related works.
Only thing kishimoto/naruto "took" (inspired) from ninku is the energy sphere. Clones, NINJA running, ninjutsu, substitution, wall walking, etc come from classic ninja stories and mythologies. Its like saying a one legged pirate with a eye patch and parrot came from disney smh.

To anime and manga fans who just discovered Ninku through the new Naruto Movie:
Japan has countless manga and anime series, and many have never been released overseas.
How many of Japan's 9 longest-running manga series do you know? Have you read any of them?
All nine are well-known among Japanese manga fans, and seven have been adapted into anime or live-action dramas. For comparison, One Piece, currently at 115 volumes, ranks 11th.
Even the biggest manga fans know there's a whole world of manga they haven't discovered yet. No one knows everything.
Let's not speak badly of a series just because we've never heard of it. Instead, let's enjoy discovering something new.
