November 20 is not a spontaneous student walkout. It is a coordinated European mobilisation.
28 communist and socialist youth organisations across 12 countries are calling for walkouts, blockades, occupations and mass demonstrations under the slogan “Fight for Our Future, Not Their Wars.” The campaign was launched in August - before the French school protests and long before the 17 October riots.
In France we watched real grievances over schools and the cost of living get absorbed by organised networks. The result was burning town halls, looted shops, hundreds of arrests, and a political narrative that treated disorder as proof the system must fall. The same infrastructure is now pointing at the UK.
If the pattern repeats here, it will not be because ordinary people suddenly discovered a taste for chaos. It will be because established groups already had the slogans, the logistics, the media amplifiers and the date on the calendar.
Watch who organises it. Watch which flags appear. Watch whether the demands stay about education and living standards - or expand, as they did in France, into a broader assault on the legitimacy of the state itself.
