🏐🥎 MULTI-SPORT ATHLETES… CAN YOU RELATE?!
Tomorrow marks my final volleyball game of the season! 🏐 When I started high school, I was SO excited to officially become a multi-sport athlete. But one thing nobody really prepares you for is just how much WORK it takes to consistently compete at a high level in multiple sports.
Balancing grades, practices, games, lessons, pitching reps, hitting reps, and still finding time to just be a teenager… IT'S A LOT! 🫠
And let's talk about the part nobody likes to talk about. What happens when you're becoming dominant in one sport, but start struggling in an area of another? It's frustrating. It's discouraging. And sometimes you start questioning yourself.
But I'm learning that growth isn't always comfortable, and being a multi-sport athlete means learning how to ADJUST, not QUIT! 💯
So tonight, it's back to work! Late-night hitting sessions focused on getting my timing back, avoiding over-rotation, staying connected, and driving the ball right back up the middle. 🥎🔥
Because the work doesn't stop when things get hard. That's when you work harder!
Volleyball season is wrapping up, and I'm grateful for everything it's taught me. Now it's time to switch gears, lace up my cleats, and get back on the dirt with
