It might just be a generational thing because my “main” era of Sonic stuff was like late 2010s early to mid 2020s so the franchise for me at least has had more hits than misses so I’m much more confident in it then say somebody who’s era was like mid 2000s to mid 2010s

They deadass don’t do shit as a trio. It’s always either Sonic/Shadow, Shadow/Silver, or Silver/Sonic but rarely ever all 3 together. They have the past/present/future theming but that’s it.
Past that they don’t got shit on the actual good Sonic trio.
