Having been blocked and called a dipshit by him after telling him he had a conflict of interest as a commentator and football manager, this will do kinda nicely as vindication ...
Since their last title, the Chooks have fielded more one club players than nearly anyone, received fewer penalties than nearly anyone and endured more serious injuries than nearly anyone ... but, nah, all they do is buy comps and rort.
Have to think the Chooks' six-and-kick strategy explained a lot. They put it up 19 times and played very little footy. With the possession and territory they had, they should have won by 30. The best ball thrown in the game was by Foketi for Smith.
BS penalty gave them the ball for one try and the failure to bin Ponga meant he scored the second. But do the Chooks have anything except six and kick? Play some footy for god's sake.
dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/… This sh!te claims there are fears Leniu will go beserk ... It doesn't quote or even cite anyone saying so. It might as well literally be made up. No matter ... What a clown.
Fox claiming the Roosters were 'handed a scare' with Teddy and Angus ordered away from training. Exactly who was scared and who issued the order isn't clear. What a load of horsesh!t. Who makes this stuff up?
Hugo called out by the ref which is just an invitation for Brailey to run at him. Linebreak and try. Why the announcement? Why not just blow the whistle? Anyone called out should automatically make the tackle anyway. Straight out dumb not to.
smh.com.au/sport/nrl/immorta… How good is Joey's finals tipping ... 0-3 so far and on the Panthers tomorrow. Tell us everything you know Joe and here's hoping it won't take any longer!
The Chooks are $3.20 outsiders, have a poor recent finals record and havent had a win in a month. Still, I think they might be a show on Sunday. I get the feeling they're ready to throw the sink at it. Hope so anyway.
Both players say here they thought Yeo's pec injury wouldbe season ending. Yet he recovered in just four weeks. Can someone explain how this is possible? À full tear would take months to repair. It cant have been that serious, surely, or am I missing something?
Has there been any word on Rodwell? Was he concussed? If not, why did he come off? If yes, how? Was it his head hitting the ground? If not then how? These are questions any journalist should ask but none seem to. Why, Im not sure. Its 101.
Hey @nrlphysio a question for you: Isaah Yeo's potentially rapid return from a pectoral injury would be down to the fact it was a relatively low grade tear, yes? Can there be any other explanation? What would a return this weekend indicate to you re the severity of the injury?
