"Data centers will kill my property values." I heard that at community meetings and county commissioners court hearings around Texas. So I tested it, comparing 45 Texas ZIP codes that got their first data center with similar surrounding ZIP codes. The result was clear: there was zero measurable evidence of home value declines.

We are 38 days out from the election, and the future of Texas is on the ballot. Vote Republican.

The House has done its job on permitting reform by passing meaningful legislation to cut through burdensome, outdated regulations that have delayed projects for years. Energy producers in the Permian Basin and across the country need this relief. Permitting reform will also create more jobs and lower energy costs for families. Senate Democrats need to stop the delays and get this done.
