#RPGNX#RPGMaker passage is now passage shape, can freely add collision shapes, and resize them, can also snap em to a grid . Sub pixel movement/tile-movement options, all physics based with Box2D.
#RPGMaker2003#RM2k#RM2k3#RPGMakerNX#RMNX added ECS and Avian Physics, somewhat restored RM2k3s menu system, have not restored system functionality so the window is kinda just drawn for now... I will be adding a WYSIWYG Gui layer to draw your own Menu systems later
added HD-2D style lighting/shadows, however with RM2k3s textures all being bitmaps shadows are squares but this is more of a proof of concept than finished code #RPGMaker2003#RPGMakerNX#RPGMaker
You create spritesets with the spriteset tool which allows you to create animations (for all for 4 directions) or static idle sprites, create patterns for those animations, then create charset sheets with those patterns in the charset tool.
This is not a Rm2k3 Player/Editor, this is a faithful recreation of RPG Maker 2003 named RPG Maker NX(Next), while RM2k3 projects can technically be opened I do not recommend moving projects to Next as charsets and tilemaps are handle differently
Rm2k3 has Mode7 now #RPGMaker2003 Granted this was a whole ass rewrite (projects are technically compatible) but with you having to remap everything, re-setup sprites/charsets, tilesets, it is probably best to only start with fresh projects.
#RPGMaker2003 Native .net version, super early but uses .net10, C#, avaloniaU, and my .net version of Lua for scripting(not added until the remake is done) very early atm
