The San Diego County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, Chula Vista Police Department and National City Police Department to get unwanted guns off our streets. Join @SDSheriff for a Gun Safety Event on: Saturday, August 15 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. South Bay Superior Court 500 Third Avenue, Chula Vista Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons and ghost guns).  Remain anonymous.  No questions asked. Free gun cable locks will also be available while supplies last. Firearms must be in working order. Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.
