‼️FINAL NOTICE FOR XENA‼️ XENA #A5798935 Carson, Ca Animal Shelter 🥰This beauty is about three years old. She weighs about 51 pounds and she was found as a stray. 📝Shelter Notes: Xena A5798935 (Intact) jumped excitedly when the runner arrived, appearing eager to exit. She was easily leashed and exited the kennel on her own. Xena proceeded to make her way to the catch pen with a moderate pull on the leash, bypassing her neighboring kennels. Once inside the catch pen, she paced anxiously, requiring firm leash control during collar and leash placement. Xena was then allowed into the yard, where she exchanged greetings with some of the dogs, displaying a neutral posture during the interactions. Following the introduction, Xena joined one of the dogs in a brief, gentle play before moving on to explore the environment. She occasionally stopped by the handlers to solicit petting. For the rest of the session, Xena roamed the yard comfortably, showing little interest in joining the other dogs in play. Once the session concluded, she was returned to her kennel without incident. Xena could benefit from continued socialization in a yard setting with active dogs to help her further develop her social skills.
