Today (September 24), the contractor, PCI, will begin work on Phase 2 of the 2nd Street West Parking Lot Reconstruction project. Phase 2 is expected to take approximately 2 months to complete. Phase 1 (the north half) has been substantially completed and is open.

The community is invited to a public meeting on Sept. 30 regarding the Clay Street Park Playground Renovation! The meeting will be held in the shelter area at the park (15th & Clay St.) from 5 to 6 PM. All are welcome to stop by and share feedback on playground design options!

On Wednesday, September 16, the contractor will begin Phase 2 of the reconstruction of West 22nd Street from Merner Avenue to the UNI Book Store. A full road closure will be required. The road closure will be in effect for approximately 10 weeks, depending on the weather.

Starting Tuesday, September 8th, the City's Public Works Division will close a portion of the northbound lane of Rownd Street for scheduled maintenance work. The work is expected to take approximately 1 week to complete, weather permitting.
