Clasp is live on Robinhood Chain. Every memecoin trade pays a fee. On most coins it goes to one wallet. On a Clasp coin it goes to the people who lock it: 90% to lockers, paid in ETH, weighted by how long and how much they lock. • Launch a coin with its vault built in, or bring an existing Pons coin • Lock for 4 hours to 1 year; longer locks earn up to 4× more per coin • Collect your ETH any time • Contracts can't be upgraded, and no one can touch locked coins or earned ETH Not audited yet. Memecoins can go to zero. The full breakdown, with real numbers from our first mainnet run, is in the article below. clasp.fun
How Clasp works, start to finish: where memecoin fees go today, how each coin's vault pays its lockers in ETH, what we did to make it safe, what we haven't done yet, and our first live run on Robinhood Chain mainnet.

Clasp: memecoin fees that pay the people who hold

Every trade on a memecoin pays a fee. On almost every coin, that fee goes to one wallet. Clasp sends it to the people who lock the coin instead — paid in ETH, weighted by how long and how much they

Lockers are collecting real ETH. 2.23 ETH in trading fees paid into Clasp vaults in the last 24 hours. 90% of it goes to the people locking. 1.56 ETH of that went into the $CLASP vault, and 0.88 ETH is being paid out to $CLASP lockers over the next hour. The $CLASP dev lock, plainly: 84.2M CLASP (8.4% of supply), locked until Sep 26, 2027 by 0x6866d127943f3c9417FC571eCDF82f6803738060. Every lock on Clasp earns, so this one does too. The dev doesn't keep that ETH. It gets collected and used to buy back and burn $CLASP. Every burn tx gets posted here so you can check it yourself.

About the dev lock: the dev locked 84.2M CLASP (8.4% of supply) for a year. A Clasp vault can't make a lock that doesn't earn, so it earns like any lock. The dev gives those fees away by buying back and burning CLASP.

$CLASP is live, launched on Clasp. It's the official Clasp coin, and it runs by the same rules as every coin on Clasp: • Every trade pays into the $CLASP vault: Pons creator fees plus Clasp's 2% trading fee • 90% goes to people who lock $CLASP, paid in ETH • Lock 4 hours to 1 year; longer and larger locks earn a bigger share • The creator gets 0% directly. I locked [X]% of my first buy for [1 year], so I earn only as a locker, like everyone else The only official contract: 0x54dfca823a37df628b573e7caedb2c02e24c13a3 Lock it: clasp.fun/coins/0x54dfca823a…

You can leave a lock early. It costs coins. Burn = max(5%, 25% × time left ÷ lock length). 25% at the start, falling to the 5% floor once 80% of the lock has passed. Burned coins are gone for good. ETH you've collected stays yours; uncollected ETH goes to the other lockers.

Your share of every fee = your weight ÷ everyone's weight. Weight = amount × duration × size. Two people lock the same amount. One picks 1 year (4.000×), the other 1 week (1.411×). The 1-year lock gets 73.9% of every arrival; the 1-week lock gets 26.1%.

How the money moves on a Clasp coin. Buys and sells through Clasp pay 2% of the ETH side. The coin's Pons creator fees point at its vault too. Everything that arrives streams to lockers over 1 hour. 90% lockers, 10% treasury, 0% creator.

Common questions about Clasp: Do I need to unlock to get paid? No. Collect ETH any time. Does the creator get a cut? No. 0%. Can I leave early? Yes, with a burn of 5–25% of the lock. What if nobody trades? Then there's nothing to share. Is it audited? Not yet, and neither is Pons v2. Memecoins can go to zero. Only lock what you can afford to lose. clasp.fun

How we tested Clasp: 84 unit, fuzz and invariant tests, plus 3 fork tests against live Robinhood Chain state. The invariant suite runs 256 runs × 120 random calls across 7 actors, and after every step checks that a vault never owes more ETH than it holds. Not audited yet. We tested Clasp end to end on mainnet with a throwaway coin, Clasp Test ($CLTEST), from two side wallets: launch, buy, lock, sell, harvest, claim, early unlock, sell-all. Every step succeeded. - 0.0879 ETH reached the vault in its first hours - 0.001305 ETH was paid to the two lockers after minutes - The keeper ran harvest() and claimTreasury() on its own - An early unlock burned ~24.8%, as the rule says Context: about a dozen launch bots traded it, and most fees were their Pons launch-window tax. It's a test coin. Don't buy it.
