In addition to its genocide in Ukraine and its support for the Assad regime, Russia has long exported its atrocities to Africa.
Crucial reporting that won’t be acknowledged, much less reflected upon, by the “anti-imperialist global south solidarity” bunch.
I’ve spent months investigating human rights abuses by Russian paramilitaries in the Central African Republic. It was very challenging. I survived detention and abduction. I saw and heard so much. Now it’s time to tell the stories. Stay tuned.
