Have really tried to improve my survivor optimizer tool. Have added a ton of new features which includes backup options which can effect season path. Also a feature that allows a path without week 18 since there's such a lack of motivation potential if you want to see. NFL should absolutely adopt the best rules system out there in the UFL. UFL replay steps in to review any obviously wrong officiating ruling in the final 5 minutes. Any play whether it’s PI, turnover whatever can be reviewed that impacts the game. Judgement calls are allowed. It shouldn’t be hard for auto review of those late PIs with Ravens and Rams games

Doesn't mean its full proof just pointing this out since we will see it with Monken on TNF. Since 2000, first time HCs coaching their first TNF game are:
* Overall: 20-40 (33%) straight up vs pre game win expectancy of 40%. 40.7% ATS
* Home Dogs: 3-18 SU (14%) vs 31.4% expected. 6-14 ATS (30%), -4.3 ATS margin
When it's early in the season (First 8 weeks) and coaches still figuring things out:
* Overall: 5-19 SU (21%) vs 43% win expected. 6-18 ATS (25%)
* Home Dogs: 0-7 SU vs 37% expected. 1-6 ATS (-10.6 ATS margin)

It’s played out just like the Rams worst case. Schedule makers were not kind to LA early. Now have to fly across country after a game at Mile High followed by another east game in BUF. It’s as brutal a schedule to start a season we’ve ever seen
If you are hoping for a Rams downfall it would likely occur immediately to start the season. Flying 16 hours to Melbourne and immediately stepping into a 17 hour time difference from LA and then play a football game the next day is a fascinating experiment. Specifically how a 38 yo QB reacts is obviously an unknown. But even if they get thru that and their body recovers fine, they still have another short week in week 3 at Mile High no less before going on the road again the next Sunday to Philly at 1pm east coast time before facing the Bills at home the following Monday. Really interested to see how this ends up

This seems almost impossible but the Saints have gone 22 straight games dating back to week 15 of 2024 since they held a lead at the end of the 1st quarter of a game. It started the first week following the season ending injury to Derek Carr. They've been shutout 64% of those 1st quarters. Now watch they explode for multiple 1st Q TDs tomorrow out of the blue
