“You daren’t bend down if I’m in the show.” 😳
David Jason admits to inappropriate behaviour live on the BBC
David Jason went onto The One Show and confessed to making inappropriate comments towards people on his shows. He revealed: “If I see something with any male or female, usually it’s the females, I will pass comment, observe and put it on camera and they will save it but can’t use it because it’s a bit sensitive.”
He also says that he created an award that is a “golden sausage” 🤔, for the best innuendo, before finishing with “you daren’t bend down if I’m in the show.”
The hosts just sort of awkwardly laugh along. You can tell they don’t really know what to make of it.
It’s a very strange thing to sit there on BBC television and openly admit he likes making inappropriate comments towards others on his shows, especially the women. Behaviour like that must have made people feel very uncomfortable. Yet because he’s David Jason, one of the BBC’s biggest names, others are left in a position where complaining risks their own job.
This is the same organisation that spent decades protecting Jimmy Savile, and where figures such as Stuart Hall, Rolf Harris and Huw Edwards were able to operate for years before the truth finally came out.
There’s long been rumours that David Jason has a dark side. Is this him giving us a little glimpse of it?
