A man set up a gofundme for 3 mil
On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation. Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me. For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to everyone who continues to support Football Leaks, and I can give everyone one guarantee: the fight will most certainly continue! gofundme.com/f/help-save-rui…

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks. Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

And just like that this prick has lost all clout he has built. Can’t stand politicians
UK Prime Minister, @andyburnham: “I'd be really concerned to lose them [#ManCity's owners]. They’ve been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is. "I can’t intervene more in the process. It'd be wrong to do that. It'd be wrong to jump to a conclusion before having really studied all the detail, but obviously it’s ongoing, and because it’s still contested by Manchester City, I think it’s right that I don’t say much more..." Man City’s Disguised Funding Scheme: Sponsorship Fees: Season - Total (Actually Paid) 2009/10 - £27.0m (£4.5m) 2010/11 - £41.25m (£12.75m) 2011/12 - £86.75m (£16.0m) 2012/13 - £121.75m (£16.0m) 2013/14 - £127.5m (£16.0m) 2014/15 - £123.2m (£16.0m) 2015/16 - £136.17 (£16.0m) 2016/17 - £140.59 (£11.0m) 2017/18 - £145.73m (£11.0m) Total - £949.94m (£119.25m) So sponsors were only liable for the £119.25m total figure, with the £830.69m additional shareholder funding disguised as ‘commercial partner revenue’.

Cooked the books and basically said we’ve made £900 Million in revenue is absolutely WILD. Said we got £340 million sponsors and commercial etc etc. when only really got £43 million 🤣🤣🤣. Teams have been robbed titles and trophies…. Before you all go, it was won on the pitch the players deserve it….. If you’d gone by the rules like Newcastle, like Aston Villa you wouldn’t probably have half those players!!! Man City moving absolutely wild 🤣🤣 thought they would get away with it as well, hahahaha zero sympathy, now use are f@#*ed take all your trophies to the championship. #mancity

What a load of crap, Umir. Using your role at the BBC is a shield is a giant cop out. You have spent years treating City as the gold standard project, you now have an official verdict & pretending there is nothing to say. You don't need a law degree to address it. The findings entirely recast the era you have spent years praising. Titles & recruitment sit under a cloud, for how the squad was assembled. None requires “inside information.” Nothing to gain speculating is a selective excuse at best. Commenting on a published verdict is not speculation. You've commented on Manchester United's leadership, recruitment, culture & project constantly yet remain silent here. Impartiality would mean applying the same public-interest standard when the club you have analysed most admiringly is found to be built upon a sham. Instead, you use it as a one-way shield - talk freely or stay mute when it is convenient. City on the pitch, City off the pitch - those are not separate anymore. A tactics correspondent does not have to be Kieran Maguire, but staying silent speaks volumes. As for your follow up comment, you lowered your colours & made it personal in no time at all. Nice man!
