Not sure how many people were able to watch the game but the most important thing I noticed which is a huge testimony to this team, was the sidelines after the starters came out. With every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th stringer that went in and made a play or tried to make a play, or did something. The players, especially the starters, were jumping on them, hugging them, high-fiving them, etc…. There was no sulking bc they wanted to stay in and run up score, they weren’t just sitting on bench talking to each other not caring. I’m not from Hopewell but have lived here for over 20 years and have coached these kids for almost 14 years… I haven’t seen a team, that I feel, is this connected, passionate, and team focused. Kudos to @jarma72 and his @HopewellVikesFB staff. Keep it going! Just do me a favor and run some TE/slot slant plays in middle of field! 😂 #LGV
