SATURDAY OVR IDEA 🏆 Friday night is over. The film is being graded. Now let your TEAM have a voice. Saturday morning, open a 12-hour Team Vote in OVR 99 and let your players and coaches vote for your Players of the Game. And remember—you create the awards based on what matters to YOUR program: 🏆 Offensive Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Offense 🏆 Defensive Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Defense 🏆 Special Teams Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Special Teams 🏆 Toughest Competitor 🏆 Best Teammate Your coaches will have their opinions after watching the film. But imagine a kid finding out that the guys he went to battle with Friday night voted for HIM. The results stay private until you're ready to release the winners. Give your players a voice. Recognize what matters. Build your culture. What you recognize gets repeated. Want to try OVR 99? DM me “OVR.” coachrandyjackson.com/ovr-99 #cheaperthanpairofgamesocks @CoachSamz

Who were your Practice Players of the Week? 🏆 After Thursday’s practice, open a 12-hour voting window in OVR 99 and let your players AND coaches vote. And you create the awards—whatever matters to YOUR program. 🏆 Offensive Practice Player of the Week 🏆 Defensive Practice Player of the Week 🏆 Scout Team Offense 🏆 Scout Team Defense 🏆 Toughest Competitor 🏆 Best Teammate Think about those scout team kids who spent all week giving your starters a great look. Now their teammates get a voice in recognizing them. Players vote. Coaches vote. Results stay private until you release the winners. You're going to recognize Players of the Week anyway. Why not let your players have a vote? What you CELEBRATE, you REPLICATE. Want to try OVR 99? DM me “OVR.” coachrandyjackson.com/ovr-99

WHAT IF YOUR PLAYERS HAD A MADDEN RATING FOR HOW THEY’RE ACTUALLY PLAYING? That’s what OVR 99 can become during the season. You finish practice or watch the film and recognize the things that actually matter to winning. Who competed? Who was physical? Who did his job? Who made the big play? Who was a great teammate? Who represented your standard? Coaches award points after practice and games. Players can vote on Practice Players of the Week, Game Players of the Week, Ultimate Competitor, Great Teammate — or whatever matters most to your culture. And it all impacts something players understand immediately: THEIR OVR. Every player has a Madden-type rating on his phone. Earn it. Improve it. Compete over it. Climb the rankings. Instead of your standards disappearing after the film meeting, put a scoreboard on them. Because WHAT YOU RECOGNIZE GETS REPEATED. 🏈 OVR 99

What if the mistakes from Friday night became the competition at Monday’s practice? OVR 99 gives every athlete a Madden-style rating for real life. Coaches can recognize the things they want repeated—effort, competition, being a great teammate, academics, and specific football improvement—and those awards help athletes build their OVR. Here’s a simple way to use it this week: At your weekend staff meeting, have each position coach identify TWO corrections his group needs to make from the previous game. For example, your defensive line coach identifies: 🏈 Shove & close better on down blocks 🏈 Better effort chasing the ball on pass Monday: Give an OVR Coach Award to the DL who does the best job of shoving & closing. Tuesday: Give an OVR Coach Award to the DL who gives the best effort chasing the ball on pass. Now the correction from the film room becomes something athletes are thinking about, competing for and getting recognized for at practice. Every position coach can do the same thing. FILM → CORRECTION → COMPETITION → RECOGNITION → IMPROVEMENT Don’t just tell players what they did wrong. Make getting better a competition. Set it Sunday. OVR handles the rest. 🏆 One of the newest OVR 99 features is Team Voting Awards. Set up your votes for the entire week ahead of time. Choose the day, time and question — then OVR automatically opens the vote when you scheduled it. Friday night: Who made the biggest play on defense? Players vote. Results stay private until the coach releases them. Another simple way to recognize what matters and get your players engaged. #cheaperthanapairofgamesocks coachrandyjackson.com/ovr-99 @CoachSamz

FRIDAY OVR IDEA 🏆 Your sub-varsity kids played last night. Who deserves to be recognized? Friday morning, open the voting in OVR 99 and let your sub-varsity players AND coaches vote for your Sub-Varsity Players of the Game. Varsity players can vote too—but only if they were there and watched the game. And YOU create and name the awards to fit your program: 🏆 Offensive Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Offense 🏆 Defensive Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Defense 🏆 Special Teams Player of the Game 🏆 Big Play Special Teams 🏆 Most Juice 🏆 Team Player Think about what this means for a freshman or JV kid. The older guys were watching. His teammates noticed. His coaches noticed. And now they get to vote for him. The votes stay private until you're ready to announce the winners. Varsity kids get plenty of recognition on Friday nights. Make sure the guys coming up in your program get some too. Want to try OVR 99? DM me “OVR.” #cheaperthanpairofgamesocks

How well do your players REALLY know their teammates? When athletes join OVR 99, they answer 10 fun questions about themselves: 👉 What’s a hidden talent you have? 👉 What’s your most embarrassing sports moment? 👉 What’s your favorite meal? Then every day, OVR turns those answers into Teammate Trivia. You set a one-hour window and OVR does the rest. First player to answer correctly earns +2 OVR points. Everyone else who gets it right earns +1. It’s fun. It’s competitive. And without holding another team-building meeting, your players are learning more about the guys they line up beside every day. Get to know each other. Earn points. Build TEAM. Want to try OVR 99? DM me “OVR.” coachrandyjackson.com/ovr-99 @CoachSamz

Todd DeNoyer and @QwikCutSports does it differently. I’ve used QwikCut for years, and what separates them is simple: they still believe they have to earn your business. I have owner Todd DeNoyer’s cell number. When I reach out, he responds the same day - every single time. QwikCut is growing fast, but they still treat their customers like they matter. Nobody is switching video platforms in September, but when that time comes, remember QwikCut. Proud to have QwikCut as the Official Video & Recruiting Platform of @fastnwide. Great product. Even better service.

This is a picture of Myles Garrett when he was in high school here at Martin. It’s right above my desk. We still have guys on our staff who coached him. In this game Myles had 7 sacks and 2 blocked kicks. After every sack he’d help the QB up!🤣 #MartinU
