All of you are missing the nuance required to actually judge this. Most, if not all, of the models suck.
There is nothing MORE granular and singular than the needs of a pitcher from his catcher vs the variables of hitters/temp/umpire/feel/context/ ect.
Inspired by this I want to theoretically can teams improves the performance by simply change how glove position being set up in the first place? I found it's ~ 1 win over average per season and somewhat consistent to next season

I'm not telling anyone something they probably don't know. But it sure as hell seems like for 20 years the way to get elite LHH out was to throw FBs a ball off and pray the umpire got it wrong.
Now it's a ball and you need to do other stuff.

Sources: @DBU_Baseball is hiring long-time Millersville (DII) head coach Jon Shehan as its new associate head coach, I'm told. Sheehan spent 19 seasons as the HC at Millersville, guiding the program to 14 NCAAT appearances. Kodie Kolden is being promoted to recruiting coordinator for DBU.
