In our final
#SalutingRRACVeterans series, we recognize Chris Minner from
@TAMUSanAntonio, who has been part of the RRAC for 13 years. Minner has been a part of two schools’ inaugural women’s basketball teams throughout his career. He started at
@OLLUSaints as assistant coach when the team began competing in 2009-10. In 2012, he took over the helm for the Saints and remained the head coach through 2019. During his tenure, his teams qualified for the RRAC postseason every year and won the tournament three times and the regular season six times. His teams made the NAIA Opening Round four times, the round of 16 three times, and finished in the semifinal round in 2019. Minner’s teams were perennially ranked in the NAIA Top 25 Poll and spent six weeks as the No. 1 team in the nation in 2016 (30-2/20-0). That year, he won the NAIA Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year (

@TAMUT_Athletics for half the season, then began the inaugural season for the TAMUSA team in 2024. This past season, he guided the Jaguars to a best-ever 24-9 record and a second-round appearance at nationals. Minner celebrated his 500th career win this past season. He will soon complete his PhD in Leadership Studies. Congratulations, Minner, for your service to TAMUSA, TAMUT, OLLU, and the RRAC!
