Week 5 Highlights Will McMaster #2 All Conference All Area 13 carries 78 yards AP 1 Touchdown

Defensive lineman Trey Lisle, a new transfer from SEMO, got 8 combined defensive snaps against Toledo & EMU, but then 26 against No. 3 Notre Dame. Asked Pat Fitzgerald about that sudden uptick in playing time today, and got a pretty insightful answer:

Unsigned senior RB/DB. First season playing full time DB which is where he projects. All conference last season in both football and basketball.

Unsigned senior running back. All-Conference last season. Elected captain this season.

College coaches. Unsigned senior RB/DB. 1st year playing in the secondary. All-Conference as a junior. Projects as a DB. Lots of length, speed, and instinct.
