There is always someone better than you ⬇️
The best thing a coach told me when I was in high school was that no matter how good you are, there is always someone out there better than you. You are either going to let that discourage you, or you are going to work your butt off so that when you play them, you are prepared to get the better of them.
Changed the way I thought about development. You are never going to be ‘the best’ that’s subjective. But you can work to be the best version of yourself and prepare to beat anyone on any given day.
