Sharing this here as well. I haven’t been active in this community for months but have lurked from time to time… and this is the foremost observation I’ve had pretty much every single time. I care about a lot of you guys as people. You are GOOD people. But I’ve seen some of you act out of character because of hardline alignment to political views. If that’s your informed decision, so be it. I’m just raising it for those of you for whom it may be a blind spot and don’t realise you’re doing it and/or why you’re doing it.
You won’t find me talking politics, because I abhor it. Alignment with a political side (especially hardline) instead of considering each issue on its merits, is the surest way for good people to go “bad”.
