Two years ago, I didn’t know what an API was. Now I’ve started working with Elijah @thatREAguy, and I’m super duper excited about it 🙂 REA is building infrastructure for coding agents. The idea is very cool: it sits between the coding agent and the model vendor, catches repeated failure loops, and stops you from paying for the same mistake over and over again. It’s exactly the kind of hard, practical AI problem I love working on. And on a personal level, I’m really grateful to Elijah for giving me the chance to work with him on something this ambitious and important ☺️ This year keeps getting more and more surreal in the best possible way ☺️

Things I’m learning about AWS, #2: I’ve been using Supabase Storage, Postgres and Redis for a long time. Today I finally understood the infrastructure reason. Your app can start on one server. But once an app scales and AWS runs several copies behind a load balancer, any request can land on any server. So app servers need to be disposable. Files, data and sessions live in shared services instead.

@levelsio liked the post where I publicly admitted I’d never thought of SSHing directly into a server. A stupidly embarrassing one, but still. I feel ridiculously starstruck 😂 Who’s next, Oprah?

AI has completely broken my sense of how long software should take to build. I built this app in 2 hours. Sure, it's a simple CRUD app. But TWO HOURS. Software development has gotten ridiculously fast.

n8n is dead. Long live @langflow_ai ! It’s a low-code workflow, but for AI agents. Drag in Gmail, Outlook, Calendar, an LLM, give it instructions, and you have an agent ready. Want to set up an agent for a client, but don't want to build a whole app around it? Just give him a Langflow workflow! I can already feel new business ideas and projects forming in my brain 😂

Making slide decks with AI is getting ridiculous. I gave Claude: - a few images for design inspiration - rough content per slide for my kids workshop - a couple of “no, more like this” corrections 😄 We iterated for a few minutes. 15 minutes later: finished presentation.
