I want to clarify that our issue is not with current athletes and/or staff of GSW. The issue is with the fanbase, alumni, and students who were in attendance. And lack of administration to manage the game day atmosphere.

There is no attempt to control this situation by gameday staff, administrators, or public safety officers. Our own athletic director felt compelled to travel because due to our previous experience and was not disappointed.

Not ever in those environments did I deal with the ignorance that we deal with when we play at Georgia Southwestern University. The last two times weโve been here our student-athletes have been met with hate comments and racial and sexual slurs while competing.

You name it, Rhoades stadium, Sherri Parker Lee stadium, Katie Seashole, The Jack, Beckham Field. Weekend after weekend, Top 25 opponents, All-American athletes. The MOST competitive.

I want to start off with saying nobody understands a competitive environment more than our staff. We had the privilege of playing in some of the best stadiums, in front of the best crowds, with the most dedicated fan base.
