I’m very disappointed seeing the 50501 Movement, some DSA socdems, and even Hasan Piker’s editor decide suddenly yesterday I’m “actually” antisemitic for criticizing Zohran Mamdani’s complicity in Zionism.

Enough time has passed that I can say I really dislike how Rem as a character has been handled post season 1. To me I can only see it as one of the most egregious cases of "fridging" in contemporary fiction, she was written out for being inconvenient to the main romantic dynamic.

Then for 3 arcs she's a plot device that the story continually has to remind you exists via Ram going "Rem would cry if she saw you like this" and now with the end of Arc 6 even her reintroduction back into the story she ALSO has amnesia such as to not inconvenience the main ship

I really loved the first half of Re:Zero season 2 (arc 4) & thought the second half was really cliche, cheesy & mickey mouse for the most part & I felt more or less the same way about season 4 (arc 6), first half was my favorite material since season 1 then second half was disney

Having finished s4 of Re:Zero I have to reckon with the fact I really just don't enjoy Emilia more or less at all anymore. The moefication and infantilization she's gone through is genuinely crazy she comes across like she's mentally impaired compared to how mature she was in s1.
