Galileo Resources (AIM: GLR) has confirmed that all conditions precedent have now been satisfied for its previously announced share purchase agreement with Metal Capital Exploration, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Sandfire Resources. With the outstanding conditions now cleared, completion of the transaction is expected on or around 30 September 2026. The agreement was originally entered into on 15 June, with Sandfire acting as purchaser guarantor, and today’s update effectively clears the way for the transaction to proceed to completion later this month.

Kendrick Resources (LSE: KEN) has delivered what could be a major de-risking milestone for its Teufelskuppe rare earth project in Namibia, with independent mineralogical work confirming that more than 95% of the rare earth pool is hosted in minerals amenable to established processing routes. The REEs are dominated by bastnäsite and parisite, the same fluorocarbonate mineral family associated with some of the world’s major rare earth deposits, with total REE mineral content reaching as high as 7.8%. Crucially, certified assays confirm exceptionally low radioactivity, averaging just 144ppm thorium and 3.6ppm uranium across 96 samples, placing Teufelskuppe in the lowest quartile of comparable hard-rock REE projects globally. With high uranium and thorium often adding substantial processing, environmental and waste-management costs, Kendrick believes this combination of favourable mineralogy and exceptionally low radioactivity could translate into a simpler flowsheet, lower capital and operating costs and an easier permitting pathway. Metallurgical work with specialist Dorfner Anzaplan is already underway, potentially moving Teufelskuppe another significant step towards demonstrating not just high grades, but unusually attractive development characteristics.@KendrickRes

Copper hit a record $14,533 a ton on the London Metal Exchange, fueled by fears of potential US tariffs on refined copper imports.
Prices have jumped 17% over the past year, supported by tight mine supply and rising demand from data centers, renewable energy and power grids.
Heavy shipments to the US have also reduced availability elsewhere, adding further pressure to prices.

Bezant Resources (AIM: BZT) has secured further backing from financing and offtake partner Hartree Metals, which will provide the US$5m required to complete the accelerated purchase arrangements for the NLZM Processing Plant in Namibia. The co-investment removes the existing security due to CL US Minerals and further aligns Bezant with Hartree as a long-term funding and development partner for the flagship Hope and Gorob copper-gold project, with Hartree receiving security, a revenue royalty and ore processing payments in return for its investment. Bezant estimates that replacing the processing plant and associated infrastructure today would cost approximately US$30m and take around two years, highlighting the strategic value of securing full control of the existing asset and flexibility for future expansion. Mine construction, pit blasting, ore stockpiling and plant modifications are continuing, with Bezant maintaining its target of first concentrate production during September 2026 and a further operational update expected this week.@BezantResources
