I'm confused. Was there some sort of genocide against people living in France that I missed? My impression was that France was one of the most "generous" welfare states.
Capitalism has inverted our values by conditioning us to believe that property is sacred while life is disposable There is another, better way

This is why WA Democrats and their media allies keep using the deceitful narrative frame "post COVID" and "since the pandemic." COVID remains their Get Out of Jail Free card wasteful spending and corrupt policy. That pre-dates COVID and will continue until WA voters stop them.
Gee, what happened? Democrats were wildly overspending and desperately needed Covid relief money to cover their ass They had YEARS to fix their spending and didn't Don't believe me? Here's Inslee ADMITTING he kept us locked down for Covid dollars

"standing up to corruption". If you really think about it, it makes no effing sense at all.
Blaming the French riots on immigration is (trying to) undermine the people with legitimate criticism with your fear mongering. It doesn't work on the French, it's a narrative framing for the people in your own country who aren't familiar with citizens standing up to corruption

eye roll emoji. She really "gets" it.

When you spoil children they become insatiable, entitled brats.
France already has one of the most generous social systems in the world. 35-hour legal workweek. 5 weeks of paid vacation minimum. Universal healthcare, with the public system covering most healthcare costs and complementary insurance often covering much of the rest. Heavily subsidized education, strong worker protections, unemployment benefits, pensions, family benefits, maternity support and extensive social assistance. France is already a remarkable example of how far a modern welfare state can go. Still not enough? Very few major countries provide this combination of shorter working hours, long vacations, healthcare coverage and social protection.

It’s what @RANGEMedia4all would say. @danielwreporter loves to gaslight on riots.
Not to blackpill but I need to say something. My parents are boomer libs and I asked them if they heard about what's happening in France and they said: "Oh yeah, we heard there are big student protests over the education and class sizes."

“Nonprofit security grants”. I’ve seen how that kind of thing works in Washington State.
Senate Dem leader Chuck Schumer’s midterms pledge to the Jewish community: “When I become — God-willing — majority leader, we will get even more money … for our nonprofit security grants so desperately needed by the Jewish community and other communities facing this scourge of bigotry in America.”

He gets it. People like @danielwreporter and orgs like @RANGEMedia4all do not. Cause so many of their readers want this.
I am not at all a supporter of far-right parties anywhere, but if these parties are the only ones offering a serious response to the alliance of Marxists, Islamists, and opportunistic hoodlums rampaging around the world, ordinary citizens seeking safety and security will flock to them. That’s why, as a Democrat, I am so vocal in criticizing those in my own party who seek to legitimize and even support these radicals and the destruction and violence they bring. I am also sharply critical of the Trump administration and others working aggressively to undermine our democratic norms and institutions. Unless common-sense, patriotic citizens in all our countries take the lead in building our best possible future and countering the dangerous extremists seeking to divide and exploit us, our democracies will be lost.

Gaslighting just like they did in Portland.
Replying to @realMaalouf
Wow ! How unusual is that? @5Pillarsuk says it's not Muslims that are rioting. What an extraordinary coincidence.

In summary, it’s Portland but in France.

Let me explain how stupid you are. What's happening on the streets are lunatic fringe communists, anarchists, and nihilists who frequently riot for any reason, using chaos to loot stores and steal things. There is nothing political about it. Petty thieves and sociopaths all.

“It is not some petty tantrum”. No it’s a TEMPER tantrum.
Let me explain what’s happening in France. 🇫🇷 For years, students and citizens have felt ignored by a government that has repeatedly failed to listen to them. And now, people have finally reached their breaking point. This isn’t some petty tantrum. We’re talking about very basic educational inequality and working conditions that a supposedly first-world country should be able to provide. While private institutions may remain largely unaffected, public schools and the students who depend on them continue to bear the consequences. And with the next presidential election approaching, and the far right playing an increasingly prominent role in france’s politics, frustration is turning into anger, and anger is spilling into the streets. Do not let the media convince you that this came out of nowhere. This was inevitable. The actual protestors have manifested incredibly peacefully and have shown the true heart of their country, but as with so many large demonstrations in France, tensions escalate. Police brutality only fuels the fire, while others exploit the chaos as an excuse to vandalize and destroy the cities we love. I will never condone that destruction. But I can understand where some of that anger comes from. When people feel that their families, their futures, and their most basic needs have been ignored for years, resentment builds up. It genuinely breaks my heart to see my city burn the way it did yesterday. Paris is my home, and watching it suffer like this is devastating. But we’ve been talking about actual change for over fifteen years, and I sincerely hope that, this time, someone in power finally listens before things get even worse. I stand with everyone who has suffered through this chaos, whether they were protesting peacefully, simply trying to get home, or watching their cities being destroyed 😔🖤

Leslie has it figured out…in her head.
Ted the French authorities have confirmed that it’s not Islamists doing this, but rather angry students for poor conditions in their high schools and universities once again you’re blaming Muslims for something that they are not responsible for

Instead they want more taxes for education. I’ve never really bought into TDS. But this is either 100% virtual signaling or truly deranged.
The Trump administration wants to return educational decisions to the individual states. Why does @GovBobFerguson refuse federal resources that will help students in Washington State?

What "freedom" are they trying to achieve in Paris by looting luxury clothing and jewelry stores?
The French Revolution was violent. The American revolution was violent. The Russian Revolution was violent. Freedom has never been won peacefully.

Wow. Let’s hope he is suspended.
A video circulating out of Portland, Oregon shows a high school football player sprinting across the field and knocking down the kid carrying the American flag. Friday night, Oct. 16. Grant High School at Jefferson High School, both Portland Public Schools. Grant ran out behind the flag. A Jefferson player in gold came in from the side, hit the flag carrier, and the flag went down. On camera, no adult steps in. An Instagram account using Jefferson branding posted the clip with this caption: "This is what happens when you disrespect us... wasn't feeling that American flag 😂" A laughing emoji. Over knocking down a kid holding the flag. These are kids, so leave their names out of it. But the adults running this program owe everyone an answer. Was anybody disciplined? Has the district said one word about it? If you want answers, contact Portland Public Schools and the OSAA and ask what they're doing about it. H/t @tarenfeist. Video via Instagram.

Huh?
Darializa Avila Chevalier says that if a non-citizen commits a crime, any additional action they face from ICE "is in itself a violation of our Constitution on the basis of where someone was born."

I’m not MAGA. What you said sucks. Apologizing was the move here.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage. America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

This is what not being accountable sounds like.

He does that. It’s never a good faith thing. I remember him gaslighting on Portland. I once subscribed to range convinced we needed more media to thoroughly check Gov power. But it doesn’t do that. Blocked me. Not a free speech guy either.
Yep - Daniel loses the argument but just keeps chirping.
