I probably watched hundreds of dev diaries, and also participated in and wrote some myself. And I think this one about the Future of Marathon is one of the very best I've ever seen. Love the honesty, passion and reflection! Also, play #Marathon, it is an excellent videogame!

22. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (PC) Another very solid story with a like- and hateable cast. The Cartel warfare in Mexico was a nice change from the Middle-Eastern missions. Slightly marred by some of my least favorite CoD missions in recent memory and contrived crafting.

23. Call of Duty Modern Warfare III (PC) Trilogy replayed on Veteran, and all refreshed on the story before Modern Warfare 4 hits next month. Got upset all over again with THAT death. And I still maintain that the more freeform Open Combat Missions are a lot of fun in stealth!

I think one way to help fight spoilers would be not to make Early Access platform-exclusive, tbh... I love Remedy to death, but as someone who has been buying their games on PC and later Xbox for 25 years, not getting EA while paying the same price is very disappointing.

Preview: Rayman Legends Retold is a FAR more ambitious remake than expected after my three hour early play session. • New musical levels and content • New 3D art style rebuilt in Snowdrop Engine • New sixth realm introducing a new gameplay ability • Fun, creative platforming with excellent level design • Customizeable difficulty with tons of accessibilty features • Deeper storytelling and remade cutscenes • New collectibles and costumes to collect • Up to 4 player couch co-op • Free copy of Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition (both games for $40) All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the remake and I'm very glad to see the return of Rayman! Ubisoft confirmed this is just the beginning if all goes well. Rayman Legends Retold releases December 3rd on PS5, Xbox, PC, and Switch 2.
