I flew a week old 737-800 MAX recently. This is what brand new engines look like. EVERY indication was identical on both engines, that never happens.

🚨 Things got tense on the radio between N30CV and ATC. The pilot became frustrated with the vectors he was being given for the arrival and repeatedly said he would declare an emergency if he wasn’t cleared for the RNAV approach he wanted. The controller replied, “I’m not sure why you’re yelling at me,” and asked him to calm down while she worked to find a solution. 🎥 Video in collaboration with Flight Simulator Fantasy Flight data: airnavradar.go.link/cITxu #Aviation #ATC #Pilot #N30CV #AirTrafficControl #FlightTracker

Flights have been grounded at major US airports after construction crews cut a cable needed for air traffic control, a top aviation official says. Ground stops have been ordered in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia, the FAA says. Delays are spreading after scores of flights were left stranded on runways on Monday morning. Boston Logan International Airport has warned travellers to expect disruption.

Hmmmm.
Pilot and co-pilot of private jet that crashed at Misrata International Airport on Monday have been detained for flying while intoxicated. The prosecution did not identify the pilots, however said that the captain is a German national and the copilot is Turkish. Prosecutors said investigators had found evidence that the pilots flew the aircraft while drunk and ordered their detention pending the investigation.

It’s wild seeing this plotted out.
Yesterday, the NTSB’s briefing included a time line of events based on FDR data with referenced ground speeds. We’ve plotted the approximate locations of those events based on correlated granular ADS-B ground speed data. flightradar24.com/blog/fligh…

Wow. A last ditch effort effort to go around followed by a second attempt to stop.
Updates from the NTSB on the runway overrun of the 21 Air 767 in Miami. All times = number of seconds before end of the Flight data recorder. -0:30: Nose gear + Right main landing gear touchdown at 158 kt ground speed -0:23: brakes applied, 146 kt -0:19: Left MLG touchdown, 134 kt -0:15: Brakes released, 120 kt; throttles “increased to values consistent with go-around thrust” -0:11: throttles reduced to idle, brakes reapplied, 117 kt -0:07: Lateral, longitudinal, and vertical accelerations change, 96 kt -0:00: Final ground speed 65 kt “No indication in the reported data that speedbrakes or thrust reversers were deployed.”
