Fighting game player from NC I mostly play Smash, 3rd Strike, and Avatar Legends

Does anyone have the Eon Ticket event for Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire? I'm trying to shiny hunt Latios and Latias

I think it's left my Gamecube Controller Adapter at Redshift yesterday in case any NC folks see it, it has a notecard with my tag taped to it

You can tell alot about a person's understanding of Smash overall by their placement of specific characters on "Character Difficulty" tier lists lol

I'm going to keep pushing forward with Link, but man the going gets tough trying to play him. Having to study basically every matchup because they all play so differently with him is exhausting. But I'm sure it'll be worth after I figure things out

Any wired headphones recs for playing Smash at tournaments? Usually I do pretty good at canceling out noise but I kinda want to hear the game now because hearing people behind me makes it hard to concentrate lol

I'd prefer headphones over earbuds, and having the option for Bluetooth would be cool but isn't required

Unironically, commentating Smash sets with more experienced commentators is one of the best ways to learn how to recognize patterns and the ebbs and flows of Smash sets. It also helped me with identifying when and where I was getting hit

I will forever dodge these NC rankings lol. Unironically I think it's really funny that I'll randomly go and do good at a local but you'll never see me on any of these
North Carolina, requirements: 6 North Carolina events in 2024 + US must be your most played country and NC must be your most played state

It's always funny to me when I see someone downplay their high/top tier character by saying that they lose x number of matchups, and then the losing matchups are other high/top tiers, and they simultaneously have even or winning matchups against basically everyone else

I've been feeling great about my play recently. Especially because I've been playing how I would like to play with my favorite character. Link is one of the only characters that makes me feel like I have the freedom to do anything I want
Congratulations to Top 8 of Ultimate Singles at Smash @ State 64! @Radiaz_SSB @frappeboss @highdablo @Combustion_SSB @FFISHwith2fs @ToTheSkye_ @wesmmmmmm Skinner This was our last Smash @ State for the semester, but we will have one more event 4/26! Stay tuned :)

What's the difference between Spin Dash and Spin Charge, and how should I as someone trying to get better at the matchup play around them?

The more I play Smash, the more I realize that ROB as a character design is what Link would play like if his tools were overturned and easier to use

If I want to get better at the Kazuya matchup, what's the most important moves to remember that have intangibility on them? It's crazy that I have to ask which ones because he has more intangible moves than entire character's movesets

Link is so hard to play in this game, I'm going to keep pushing but man it gets harder to keep going with this character in this meta. Especially when there are no active top players of your character

I don't wanna be one of those people that "retires" and comes back repeatedly, but my school has an esports lab now so I have an incentive to play. Having to play online was the main reason I wasn't having as much fun. Playing offline is amazing

I know Link nair is good, but it's the only thing holding that character together. If he didn't have that move he'd be terminally mid tier
