I’m being told that they will have space-themed Mickey Ears on their helmets for the Houston game
UCF is set to debut a helmet logo on Saturday when they host TCU as part of a sponsorship from Walt Disney World. The logo will appear on the back of the helmets and is another example of schools finding creative ways to draw sponsorship revenue.

NEW: Miami (OH), James Madison and UConn have contacted the American Conference about joining the league, @Brett_McMurphy and @PeteNakos report.
Despite overtures from those three schools the conference is not expanding at this time.
