Jack Kirby is niche. All he made is bs no one pays attention to. No one’s heard of the fourth world. Darkseid just appeared out of thin air in dc comics I’m not even sure he existed before the cartoons. Mister Miracle and the new gods famously just never appear in the comics

Green Lantern constructs directly portray their personality. Showing the immense power of the ring can make it more believable when you see how it may corrupt a veteran lantern.
You are quantifying how good a show is by how much a tool of the character is used. At no point is WHY the ring's low ussage being brought up and talked about from a thematic point of view. It is just Ring construct number low? = Bad!. That is not criticism.

I'm partial that they're not *just* space cops in a general sense. They lean into that subtext a lot, but equally so they're also thematically written in a lot of instance as space knights, a space military, and almost Jedi-like at times. They have a lot of flavor
