My colleagues eliminated the Human Services Department. I raised hell about it and so did you. Out of sheer embarrassment, (and to shut me up) they scrambled to come up with an alternative:
Outsourcing services through County grants to the Center for Transforming Lives (CTL).

I am deeply concerned by the news of yet another death involving a person in the custody of the Tarrant County Jail, the seventh in 2026.
I extend my condolences to his family, who are now facing an unimaginable loss.
We must never allow these deaths to become routine.

County Judge Tim O’Hare is facing a formal petition for removal AND a new lawsuit for violating First Amendment rights.
Former Rep. Lon Burnam petitioned to have O’Hare removed for official misconduct, for weaponizing his authority to silence constituents at public meetings.
