One big takeaway from the Ron and Mayhew presser last night:
They were asked “why didn’t you spend much time with Jahan pre draft?”
Mayhew responded “a lot of times you spend time with guys you have Questions about”
Shows how confident they were in Jahan at 16 #NFLDraft

I watched Jahan Dotson play against my Terps in person and the man can ball!
Terry, Curtis and Dotson are like lighting in a bottle. That’s an explosive group for Carson to work with. I like it!

The @Commanders offered three first-round picks to the Seattle Seahawks for Russell Wilson, according to a source.
I keep seeing "multiple firsts." I'm told - more specifically - that they offered three firsts.

I'm sure #Seahawks did prefer to trade #RussellWilson to AFC. But he has no-trade clause. He coulda nixed #Broncos. He didn't. He preferred them over #Commanders. No. 1 QB focus for #Commanders now should be #NFLDraft (Malik Willis) unless #DeshaunWatson truly becomes an option.

Washington offered high picks in the next three drafts to the Seahawks for QB Russell Wilson, per sources. But it became apparent to the Commanders that Seattle preferred to trade him out of the NFC.
So Washington's QB hunt continues.

Two quick notes following the Wilson/Denver trade;
- Same source that told me well over a month ago that Washington was going after Wilson big time also told me team would not pursue Watson.
- There is no shame in this miss. Seattle wanted him out of NFC. What can you do?

Per a source, Washington offered Seattle a more attractive package of draft picks than Denver did. Additionally, Washington was willing to offer players as well but Seattle made it clear their preference was to trade Wilson to an AFC team. #WashingtonCommanders

Talked to Drew Lock. He declined comment, saying he wanted to talk to family members and close friends to process the trade before he speaks publicly.
I'll say this for Lock: No Broncos player got beat up more the past 2 years but he was always professional with press. #9sports
