As we continue to support @Jobs4_TN during the rollout of TNWorks — the single source for workforce in our state — we're excited about the collaboration between education, economic development and workforce in Tennessee. When a company expands in or moves to Tennessee, we want them to know our state has the highly skilled workers it needs to be successful. 🤝

It was an honor to meet with U.S. Ambassador to Iceland Billy Long and staff from @usembreykjavik this week to discuss opportunities to strengthen partnerships between Tennessee and the Land of Fire and Ice. We were thrilled to help kick off nonstop air service between Nashville and Reykjavík through @Icelandair last year, and our team always appreciates the opportunity to build on the strong relationship between Tennessee and Iceland.

With industry partners and companies onsite to support, collaborate and help talent grow, this campus is another exciting example of the creative energy and business momentum driving Tennessee forward. 🙌

Honored to join @SenatorHagerty, @USTreasury Assistant Secretary Chris Pilkerton, @VanderbiltU Chancellor Daniel Diermeier, leaders from @Bridgestone and @NissanUSA and partners across Tennessee for a roundtable on foreign direct investment. 🤝 As we continue to strengthen investment security while also facilitating investment from trusted allies and partners, the importance of FDI to Tennessee's manufacturing base, workforce, supply chains and economic growth is incredibly important, and I was honored and grateful to take part in such an important discussion.

I was honored to join the Tennessee Economic Partnership and economic development leaders from across the state in Greenville, South Carolina, this week to discuss Tennessee’s strong momentum and the opportunities ahead. As we continue building a future rooted in innovation, workforce development and energy independence, it was a great opportunity to reflect on the progress made under the current administration and discuss what’s next for Tennessee’s continued success.

.@DollyParton represented the very best of Tennessee, and our state has been forever changed by her generosity. I know her legacy will live on through the generations she inspired, the communities she lifted and the countless lives she touched.

These funds will create meaningful opportunities for distressed communities by providing access to resources that might otherwise be out of reach. Economic development and workforce development go hand in hand, and this is especially important in our rural communities. We’re investing in sites and infrastructure to prepare communities for growth—and through TNWorks, we’re working alongside partners @Jobs4_TN and @TNHigherEd to make sure workforce and education are part of that equation, too.
